Who Am I

Gemma Ward - one of the drawings my partner, Stylus and I did.

Bamboo Capture CTH-470/S with the stylus.

Hi everyone, my name is Bamboo Capture CTH-470/S. I am the member of the Wacom Bamboo Tablet family. I was made in China, but I travelled to Canada and was sold there. I have a partner, the black stylus; it is a battery-free and pressure sensitive tool for image editing and creating natural-looking pen strokes. We work as a team in order to make good graphics works.

Allow me to introduce myself more. As a graphics tablet, I work by enabling the user to hand-draw images and graphics on a screen just like the way one uses pencil on paper. I am made of plastic with a glossy plastic bar with my name "BAMBOO" on. Next to the black bar, there are three textured customizable ExpressKeys and a LED light indicating different functions with blue and white lights. The black nylon pen holder is attached to my body so the user can store the stylus easily. My size is one of the smallest in my family; I am 10.9 x 6.9 x 0.4 inches big with the active drawing area for pen and touch input measured 5.8 x 3.6 inches - it is a good size for the user to carry around. Moreover, there are four dots on the active drawing area indicating the area where the user should draw or write in order to show the graphics on the computer screen.

I am a really useful tool for people who need to work on graphics or image editing. Look at the images on the top and below - they were drew by me and my partner a few years ago! :)
